After many years of moving around in the US and internationally, Carolina moved to Washington, D.C. in 2017 pursuing her career in international development. After one year at her last role and as a Mt Pleasant resident, she realized she was more invested in her community and decided to go back to local non-profit work and focus on contributing to her neighborhood. She has been at District Bridges since November of 2018 and is the program manager for the Columbia Heights/Mount Pleasant Main Streets Program. She was born and raised in Colombia and is focusing on working with our Spanish speaking businesses in our neighborhoods.
She holds a Masters in International Development and Social Change from Clark University and a BA in Anthropology from the University of South Florida. During her free time, she likes to be outside attending the many cultural events DC has to offer or taking her dogs on a walk to Rock Creek Park.
