Treasures in the Attic
Is it junk or is it treasure? Bring your special item from home (art, jewelry, silver, sculpture, etc) and have it evaluated by a panel of experts including lauded appraisers Benedict Hastings of Hastings Associates and Paula Hantman of Hantman’s Auctioneers and Appraisers. The goal of this event is allow you to learn more about your special item and receive an evaluation* by a team of experts at a fun neighborhood event that benefits a non-profit organization in the community.
This event is brought to you by a collaboration between Chevy Chase Main Street and Long & Foster Chevy Chase Circle. Complimentary refreshments offered.
Two time slots are available, 1:00-3:00pm & 3:00-5:00pm, pre-registration is encouraged. “Best of” Category Awards will be given out at each time slot.
This event is a fundraiser benefitting Chevy Chase Main Street. All proceeds will go towards Chevy Chase Main Street in their efforts to support small businesses and invest in community.
Please provide a brief description of the item you wish to have evaluated, including any hallmarks or other distinguishing marks, and a photo or two to ccms@districtbridges.org.
Having an item to be appraised is not mandatory; grab a general admission ticket to enjoy the fun and witness the interesting stories and discoveries!
