Art All Night comes back to Mount Pleasant with a theme of “The Faces of Mount Pleasant / Las caras de la Manplesa” on September 29th from 5:30-11pm! Join Mount Pleasant neighbors as we celebrate some of the things that make our neighborhood so special: our talented artists, our vibrant history, and our love for our local businesses.

Each Activity Zone is named after a famous Mount Pleasant artist or figure!

Location: Lamont Plaza (3258 Mt Pleasant St NW)

The open stage will feature a variety of performances: spoken word, live music, cellphone karaoke and much more. All musical styles in any language are welcome. Community-friendly presentations only.

  • 5:45 pm – Signup begins (1-2 songs per person)
  • 6:00 pm – Performances begin

Performers include:

Kenny Allen is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist from Washington whose music is soulful, Africa inspired, lyrically conscious, and stylistically journeyed.

Hannah Honeycutt, local musician and artist in Mt. Pleasant. As a singer-songwriter, Hannah’s music explores themes of love, loss, and the commonalities that bring us together.

6:00 pm – Performance by Fanfaire –  a DC-based folk trio of female multi-instrumentalists and songwriters showcasing three-part harmonies in folksongs that range from haunting to contemplative to anthemic
