DB Community Building and Strategy Session

At District Bridges, we believe a thriving community is one that is equitable, resilient, and connected. Through our work with small businesses, community events, and activations, we strive to be an “on ramp” for making an impact in the neighborhood – and that starts with our Executive Board and Neighborhood Strategy Councils.

As a Board or NSC Member, you are integral to our holistic community-based approach to economic development. You help us stay grounded and in tune with the needs and priorities of the community, and we want to leverage your collective knowledge and experience to increase our influence and impact.

But did you know?

Your NSC is one of seven, working across four Wards and 10 neighborhoods. As gathering safely becomes more of a possibility, we would like to invite you to a community building and strategy session on Tuesday, March 30 from 5:30pm-7:00pm. During the session, we’ll have opportunities for you to learn more about District Bridges as a whole and how our Main Streets are working to enrich neighborhood vitality by bridging community engagement and economic development opportunities so individuals, businesses, and organizations can thrive together.

This hybrid meeting will take place at the District Bridges’ offices in Columbia Heights and on Zoom. We welcome you to participate in person if you can show proof of vaccination.
