Columbia Heights Walking Tour
In partnership with Washington Walks, District Bridges is bringing FREE walking tours of Columbia Heights! On this tour, you’ll trace the evolution of the Columbia Heights from its streetcar era to the vibrant neighborhood it is today.
Meeting point: by the Columbia Heights Heritage Trail sign (just outside the entrance to CVS @ 3031 14th St NW). Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to account for any potential weekend commute disruptions. If you’re coming from the metro station, take the Pleasant Plains exit and head towards the CVS.
This event will occur whether rain or shine.
* Required for headcount purposes: reserve your free spot here. Each tour lasts ~2 hours.
Washington Walks has been offering private tours of Washington DC for small groups and organizations since their very beginning as Washington’s original walking tour company in 1999. They do tours of various neighborhoods for all different sizes – small groups, private, large groups. Check out their website for more info!
