RAIN OR SHINE! JOIN US FOR CHEVY CHASE DC DAY!
The Chevy Chase Community Association (Website) returns with their annual festival Chevy Chase DC Day! Saturday, September 23rd from 1-4pm.
Activities in and around Chevy Chase Community Center:
- Concert by Little Red and the Renegades — Zydeco, New Orleans Funk & Swamp Rock
- 2:00pm Mayor Bowser Speaks
- 2:30pm Infinity Martial Arts Demonstration
- 3:00pm Ballet Elite performance
- Art Exhibit and children’s masquerade mask making art activity by Ch/Art
- Performance by Ballet Elite
- Kids will be able to explore a police car and big rig firetruck while learning about safety and meeting our local law enforcement.
- ANC3/4G members will attend and wish to talk about local issues with CC residents
- Councilmember Matt Frumin, and Councilmember Janeese Lewis George will be in attendance
- Face painting
