What is the Love My Main Street Campaign?

Picture the things you love most about your neighborhood. What about the small businesses that make our community unique?

If you don’t act now, the COVID-19 crisis could irreparably damage the places you love most. As we begin to understand the cascading impacts the last several months are having on our economy, the resources we rely on to support small businesses will be significantly restricted.

That is why we need your support today to ensure that District Bridges and our Main Street programs will be here for our businesses and community in the coming year.

Every little bit will help us continue to support businesses at the heart of our neighborhoods. Your donation will help our Main Street programs:

Distribute grants to small businesses for upgraded websites and new delivery platforms, outdoor seating equipment, new signage, and other COVID relief;
Fill out paperwork for business owners for whom English is a second language so they can get the grants and permits they need right now to survive COVID;
Keep businesses informed of updated city policies and regulations so they can stay in compliance;
Promote businesses, especially their resiliency and creativity, on social media, list serves, and newsletters; and
Advocate for small business interests to DC Council.
